Local, organically grown food is still available in Rockland County!  At Cropsey Community Farm, you can purchase a CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, which gives you 25 weeks of over 50 varieties of biodynamic vegetables, fruits and herbs from May through November. A CSA is a mutually beneficial relationship between you and your local earth. It provides you with an abundance of seasonal produce grown a few miles from your doorstep, and it gives you full access to the soil and the farmers that nourish it.  When you purchase your vegetables through a CSA, you are more than a consumer; you become the next crucial participant in local, sustainable agriculture.

What Is a CSA Membership?

  • You purchase a share of Cropsey Community Farm, which means that you pay for a year of vegetables in advance; therefore,  you contribute to the farm’s expenses of procuring seeds, labor and equipment to enable a season of healthy growth for everyone.
  • Each week, you come to the farm to pick up approximately ten pounds of seasonal vegetables, which include 50 varieties of your favorite local fruits and veggies, plus edible flowers, roots, and wild natives grown on our biodynamic property.
  • You enjoy the most rewarding way to keep  organic agriculture thriving in your home community by making this annual commitment to a local farm.

What is Included In a CSA Membership?

  • 25 Weeks of delicious, biodynamic produce from Cropsey Community Farm in New City
  • FREE access to farming, gardening, culinary, beekeeping, herbalism and foraging workshops at the farm
  • An opportunity to work and learn with farmers on open farm days
  • Weekly recipes for your vegetables
  • Education about the farm’s many layers of biodiversity and suggested uses for flowers, herbs and wild plants grown in our fields and in the surrounding woodland fringe
  • A future of increased open space and thriving farms in Rockland.

Sign up before January 31 and receive a free Spring bonus basket before the season begins!
